A Friday night workshop with Voices for Forrest + Climate for Change
Talking about climate change can be hard. Sometimes people switch off, avoid the topic altogether, or feel overwhelmed by where to even begin.
This Friday night, Voices for Forrest and Climate for Change are coming together in Bunbury for a practical, interactive workshop designed to help change that.
For one night only, Mary is joining us from the east coast to share simple tools for having climate conversations that actually connect with people.
Over two hours, you’ll explore how to:
- Navigate scepticism, apathy, doomism and denial without the conversation shutting down
- Share your own climate story in a way that feels natural and authentic
- Ask better questions, listen well and find common ground
- Turn everyday conversations into opportunities for connection and action
This isn’t about winning arguments or knowing every climate fact. It’s about learning how to have conversations that keep people engaged.
Whether you’re completely new to climate conversations or want to sharpen your skills, you’ll leave with practical tools you can use straight away.
We’ll also have some hearty Friday night snacks to tide you over.
Tickets are $25,helping Climate for Change keep its resources current and continue this work. Concession tickets are also available.
Come along, meet others in the community and help us change the conversation about climate.
