Big crowd for Community Democracy

Who said people are not interested in democracy?

Democracy drew a huge crowd at our first event on Community Democracy!

Our inspiring convenor Sue Chapman shared our story with a packed auditorium. She talked about why we do what we do: to give everyone in the electorate of Forrest a voice in Canberra.

Kate Chaney, Curtin Independent MP, showed how community democracy is done. She is supported by a broad community movement in her electorate.

We held a lively Q&A session and a succesful volunteer sign-up afterwards.
